What we collect, and what we do with it.
RoastBridge is a sourcing and qualification service for the coffee industry. This page explains, in plain language, what information we collect when you use the site, why we collect it, and what your options are. Last updated September 30, 2026.
Who we are
RoastBridge is an early-stage sourcing and qualification service, currently operated directly by its founder, Hassan Abaid. If you have any question about this policy or your information, you can reach us at hassan@roastbridge.com.
Information you give us
When you submit a sourcing request, complete a café sourcing brief or roaster profile, or share a review, we collect what you enter. Depending on the form, that can include:
- Your name, email address and, if provided, phone number.
- Your café or roastery name, website or Instagram, and location.
- Operational details relevant to matching — for example volume, flavor preferences, delivery needs, order minimums, capacity, sample availability, or lead times.
- Any free-text notes you choose to add, such as certifications or dealbreakers.
- The words and attribution you provide in a review, your private contact email, and when you agreed to submit it for publication consideration.
We do not ask for payment details, and we do not ask for information beyond what a sourcing, profile, or review process reasonably requires.
Information collected automatically
We do not currently run third-party analytics, advertising pixels, or tracking cookies on this site. Our hosting provider may record standard technical request information — such as IP address, browser type, and page requested — for security and reliability, as is normal for any website. This information is not used to build advertising profiles.
How we use your information
We use the information you provide to:
- Research and qualify a wholesale roaster or café opportunity against what you've told us.
- Facilitate an introduction where there is a genuine fit.
- Reply to your request by email, including to ask clarifying questions.
- Contact you privately to verify a submitted review and, only after administrator approval, publish its quote and attribution.
- Improve how accurately we match future requests.
We do not use your information for unrelated marketing, and we do not sell it.
When we share your information
The purpose of RoastBridge is to make introductions, so sharing relevant details is part of how the service works. When we identify a potential fit, we share the relevant parts of your brief or profile with the matched counterpart. Approved reviews may show the reviewer’s name, role, business, city, and words publicly. A review’s contact email is never displayed publicly.
Outside of those introductions and approved reviews, we do not share your contact details or brief with any other third party, and we do not sell your information to anyone.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as reasonably useful to provide the service — generally, while your request is active and for a period afterward in case a relevant opportunity comes up later. You can ask us to delete your information at any time; see the section below.
Your choices
You can ask us, at any time, to:
- Tell you what information we hold about you.
- Correct information that is inaccurate.
- Delete your information from our records.
Email hassan@roastbridge.com and we will action this directly — RoastBridge is small enough that these requests are handled personally, not through a support queue.
Cookies
This site does not set cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking. If that changes — for example to add basic, privacy-respecting analytics — we will update this page first.
Children
RoastBridge is a business-to-business service and is not directed at, or knowingly used by, children.
Changes to this policy
As RoastBridge grows, this policy may need to change. If it does, we will update the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, note what changed.
